In Search of the Unknown

We all beset on this whimsical journey in search of something. In search of the unknown, in search of meaning and purpose. I think we all found what we came here for, and even the unexpected. It is all about what one makes of their opportunities. From stepping off the plane to traveling and living in the 'city of human unity,' we all have grown and blossomed into the fruit of insight

We all beset on this whimsical journey in search of something. In search of the unknown, in search of meaning and purpose. I think we all found what we came here for, and even the unexpected.

It is all about what one makes of their opportunities.  From stepping off the plane to traveling and living in the 'city of human unity,' we all have grown and blossomed into the fruit of insight.

It’s hard to convey what we have learned but man did we have a good time!  A journey of silly games, living in tranquility, back flipping into a well to cool off after a hard day’s work, meditation in an alien spaceship, delicious food, being stared down by the Mother wherever one goes, crazy world cricket matches in Mysore, being hassled by the ‘drum dude,’ hiking the embodiment of Shiva, weekly if not daily conversations about bowel movement, surfing in the Indian Ocean and months of laughter.  Sigh, oh India.  But no tree climbing…(a wagging of the finger as a warning to all you tree huggers)

I can hardly believe this chapter has come to an end and another begins.  Whatever we do when we get back home to Babylon, we will always look back on our experiences here in India.  But then again, yesterday was history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift; that’s why they call it the present.  I’m going to hop on my motorcycle and sign off now, so farewell my fellow sustainable warriors, and good luck.  Govinda!!!
