As the time winds down, I am finishing up last minute tasks while still trying to enjoy my time here.  I made a list of the tasks I have to do like packing, washing clothes, closing my account…ect.

In a few minutes, I will go on my last trip to Koolipalium.  I am going to Farm Fresh to get goodies for the plane and the beach.  My friend and I have decided to take a taxi despite the fact that petroleum is bad for the environment and the beach is in bikable distance.  There was some lack of enthusiasm about the taxi from my peers, but I still have to think about self and recently I have been feeling the Indian heat and dehydration a little too much.  One thing I have gained from this program is confidence and standing up to others around me.  Whether it is standing up for what I want in the moment or what I believe in, I feel more confident within myself.

It is bitter sweet to think I will leave Auroville tomorrow.  I am excited to go home and see all the people I have been missing and I am also sad to think I am leaving all the people I met over the last three months.  I am sure that when I return to Auroville in five or ten years from now, both Auroville and I will have changed.  We are both in a constant stage of growth, just like all things in life.

I definitely do think it is my time to go back to New Hampshire.  I am ready to take all I learned from Living Routes home with me and to incorporate it into my life.  This program has taught me so much and I am thankful for everyone who has contributed to my learning.  I am also thankful to everyone who has helped me get to India and supported me throughout my journey.
